Exhibitor Svět knihy Praha 2026

Program Registration for the 31st Annual Book World Prague Literary Festival 2026
is opean. Program proposals and their set up have to be discussed with the Book World Prague programming team before submiting.

Next year’s literary program will focus on two main themes: Europe and History. 

We warmly invite you to participate in the festival through author readings, discussions, presentations, panels, workshops, or thematic performances - either as independent events or in connection with the Svět knihy organized programs.

If you already have authors or thematic content that aligns with this year’s programming and would like to connect it with the festival’s main dramaturgy - for example, through a joint panel with multiple authors - please contact the festival’s dramaturge, Guillaume Basset (g.basset@svetknihy.cz). 

For consultations on independently organized programs and presentations - whether held in a rented hall, at your exhibition stand, or in the “Mimo Výstaviště” section - and their preparation for inclusion in the printed and online festival catalogue, please contact program curator and catalogue editro Zuzana Malina Černohousová (zuzana.cernohousova@svetknihy.cz). She will gladly discuss format, content, venue possibilities, and technical requirements with you. 

Organizational Information:


  • The final deadline for registration is February 28, 2026.

  • Before registering, you must confirm the exact time and location of your program with us (capacity is limited).

  • If you are planning a program at your own exhibition stand, please use the special Program at the Stand form.

  • For international guests, please attach a short biography (max. 800 characters in both English and Czech) and a high-quality portrait photo (min. 300 dpi) with cleared image rights.

These prices apply for exhibitors only. Prices for other companies are 100 % more than the prices shown.

Rental price includes: 1 wireless microphone, servicing technician, entries and mentions in the Programme Catalogue and other media connected with the programme, entrance tickets for participants.

Each programme ends at a fixed time, which is followed by a break of 10 minutes for the changeover of equipment and preparation of the next programme!

Auditoriums will be allotted progressively, after the receipt of the binding application.

The literary festival organiser reserves the right to change the time and/or place of the programme after agreement with the programme organiser, as well as the final version of the programme name and discription in accordance to uniform style of presentation in fair’s promotional materials.

Please note

In order to ensure the fluent progress of individual programmes, the programme organiser undertakes to respect the programme duration as per the agreement. Should actual programme duration differ from that of the agreement, the programme organiser undertakes to compensate for inconvenience caused the organiser of the programme to follow.

All programmes which generate noise (by music, singing, etc.) must be reported to the organisers in advance.

Advertising by means of sound and the playing of music are permitted only on a stand or as part of a programme and only in the case that they cause no disturbance to neighbouring stands. Their duration should be no greater than is strictly necessary; this is to forestall justfied complaints on the part of other exhibitors and organisers of concurrent programmes. Failure to observe this condition may result in the demand from the organisers that the programme be cancelled.

For the use of works of music or literature exhibitors are obligated to secure - in addition to the approval of the organiser - approvals from the Copyright Protection Association, Intergram, and Dilia as per the Copyright Act. For public readings, the approval of the author, translator, heirs and/or representing agency is required.

By submitting the application, the program organizer declares that it has all the necessary rights, authorizations, and consents to use each of the materials provided to the book fair organizer in connection with this application, in particular photographs, texts, and any other intellectual property rights (hereinafter referred to as "Materials"). The program organizer further confirms that the provision of the Materials and their use by the book fair organizer will not infringe on the rights of any third party. The program organizer grants the book fair organizer a non-exclusive, territorially and temporally unlimited authorization (license) to use the Materials in connection with the relevant accompanying program organized by the program organizer for the purpose of presenting and promoting the book fair and the accompanying program, in particular through websites, social networks, and printed and electronic promotional or informational materials. In the event that a third party asserts a claim against the fair organizer for alleged infringement of intellectual property rights in connection with the Materials provided (e.g., as a result of the program organizer's insufficient rights to a photograph provided for a profile of a personality participating in the accompanying program), the program organizer undertakes to compensate the book fair organizer for all damages thus incurred and related costs, including legal representation costs, and to provide the book fair organizer with all necessary cooperation.

By submitting a binding registration, the program organizer agrees to the recording or photo documentation of the program, which can subsequently be used by the organizer of the fair and festival for promotion and publication.

Terms and conditions in the event of cancellation

If the programme / services paid for are cancelled after March 18, 2026 the cancellation fee is 50 % [of the total price of the services ordered], after April 1, 2026 the cancellation fee is 100 %.
