The 31st edition of the International Book Fair and Literary Festival Book World Prague 2026, will once again be held in the newly renovated Křižík Pavilions and exhibition hall on Bruselská cesta. while the program will take place at the Exhibition Grounds in outdoor halls named after classic Czech authors.
The festival's dramaturgy in 2026 will focus on two main points. We will focus on EUROPE with the aim of drawing attention not only to canonical works and famous writers, but also to emerging authors connected to European continent. This perspective will be complemented by the theme of HISTORY, based on Milan Kundera's quote, "The struggle of man against power is the struggle of memory against forgetting," which explores how literature records and analyzes historical events and shapes collective consciousness.
