She studied Slovak and literature at the Faculty of Arts, University of Prešov. She debuted with a collection of short stories Usadenina (2013), which, as a manuscript, won in the Debut contest 2011 and after its release also won in the Debut of the year poll. The Stoka Theatre and Nekroteatro in Prague staged plays based on her novella Bordeline (2014). In 2016 she wrote Barbora, boch & katarzía, which was nominated for the Anasoft Litera Award in 2017, won the René Award and was nominated for the Ján Johanides Prize for the best prose by authors under 35. In 2020 she released a comic book Elektik Bastard, which was nominated for the Anasoft Litera Award, received the Panta Rhei Award and Tatra banka Prize. Her novel Babička (2023) is nominated for the Anasoft Litera Award.
